- The Competition Judges and their immediate family and household members.
- Individuals engaged in the manufacture, distribution, and sale of microscopes, related accessories, and photographic equipment.
Please be aware that participation in the competition and the receipt of any prize may be restricted or void where prohibited by applicable laws or regulations.
Guidelines and Restrictions
To ensure fairness and quality, adhere to these guidelines and restrictions when submitting your entries:
- Submit images in .jpeg, .png, or .tiff format.
- Aim for the highest quality regarding file size, bit depth, and resolution.
- Your images need not be taken with a Nikon-branded microscope.
- Images must be captured using a light microscope. Those taken with an electron or any other microscope not using optical light technology are not eligible.
- Macro photography submissions will not be considered.
- Submissions must not disparage Sponsor, Administrator, or any other entity.
- Avoid including brand names, logos, trademarks, URLs, or personal information of third parties.
- Submissions must not contain inappropriate, indecent, discriminatory, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous material or material contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
